'. ¿Quién es The Wallflowers? La banda nace en 1990. Tomando parte en el resurgimiento de mediados de los 90’ del rock clásico, Wallflowers contó con la participación de uno de los más inspirados artistas: el vocalista / letrista / guitarrista Jakob Dylan. Aunque es hijo de una leyenda, Bob Dylan, las similtudes de Jakob con su padre son ocasionales, de hecho, Wallflowers está más influido por Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers que por el sonido folk rock de los 60’. Nacido en 1970, Jakob Dylan se crió en Los Ángeles bajo la tutela de su madre, Sara Lowndes, tras su divorcio con Bob en 1977. Jacob estudió en escuelas privadas de L.A. y Nueva York, y decide seguir los pasos de padre por a finales de los 80’. Forma Wallflowers junto al guitarrista Tobi Miller, el teclista Rami Jaffee, el bajista Barrie Maguire y Peter Yanowitz a la batería, firmando con Virgin. Editado en agosto de 1992, el álbum homónimo y de presentación “Wallflowers” no tuvo grandes ventas, y Virgin pronto rompe el contrato. Ver BiograFia Completa
