Los Primeros Años y el Origen del Nombre
Two Door Cinema Club es una banda de indie rock proveniente de Irlanda del Norte, formada en 2007 en la localidad de Bangor. La banda está compuesta por Alex Trimble (voz y guitarra), Sam Halliday (guitarra y coros) y Kevin Baird (bajo y coros). La historia de este conjunto musical comenzó en los pasillos de la escuela secundaria, donde Trimble, Halliday y Baird compartían su pasión por la música.
Curiosamente, el nombre "Two Door Cinema Club" es una modificación de "Tudor Cinema," un teatro local que influenció la inspiración artística del grupo. Sin embargo, debido a un error tipográfico durante el registro del nombre de la banda, el resultado fue el conocido y pegajoso “Two Door Cinema Club.”
