Ernesto Antonio Puente, quien fue conocido en el medio musical como Tito Puente, fue un cantante que nació en Nueva York, NY, Estados Unidos, el 20 de abril, del año 1923, y falleció en la misma ciudad de Nueva York, el 31 de mayo del año 2000. Sus padres quienes eran puertorriqueños eran Ernest Puente y Ercilia Puente.
