'. ¿Quién es Mr. Vegas? Clifford Smith, conocido como Mr. Vegas, es un cantante jamaicano de dancehall. Nació en Kingston, Jamaica, el 29 de diciembre de 1974. Es reconocido por sus discos "Heads High", "Pull Up", "Sweet Jamaica", "Mr. Vegas" y "ISM", entre otros. Significado del nombre Su sobrenombre Mr. Vegas se lo dieron sus amigos de recreo en la escuela, quienes decían que pateaba la pelota como un bailarín de Las Vegas, Nevada, Estados Unidos. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Mr. Vegas nació y creció en Jamaica, donde demostró su gusto por la música; siempre contó con el apoyo de sus familiares. Durante una pelea por un robo, Mr. Vegas recibió un golpe en la cara con una palanca, por lo que fue preciso cerrarle la quijada por seis semanas para sanar la fractura.
