Nació en Los Ángeles, California, Estados Unidos, el 15 de marzo de 1975. Inicialmente ganó reconocimiento como vocalista y DJ del grupo Black Eyed Peas. Tiene una compañía discográfica llamada A.M Records, con la cual ha lanzado varios sencillos que han llegado al número uno en las principales listas de música.
