Nació en Lake Jackson, Texas, Estados Unidos, el 16 de abril de 1971; falleció a los 23 años de edad el 31 de marzo de 1995 en Corpus Christi, Texas. Su muerte fue por caer víctima del disparo perpetrado por su gerente del club de fans, Yolanda Saldívar.
