'. ¿Quién es Dir En Grey ? Dir En Gray es una banda japonesa de heavy metal. Fue formada en Osaka, Japón, en 1997. Con una alineación constante de los guitarristas Kaoru y Die, el vocalista Kyo, el baterista Shinya y el bajista Toshiya, han lanzado once discos completos. Entre sus discos se encuentran "Gauze", "Macabre", "Kisou", "The Marrow Of A Bone", "Dum Spiro Spero" y "Arche". Significado del nombre El nombre de la banda es una combinación de alemán "dir", francés "en" e inglés "gray", por lo que se pensaba que significaba "Grey Silver Coin". En realidad se traduce como "Para ti en gris". Los integrantes de la banda querían transmitir una imagen musical que no fuera ni en blanco ni en negro, por lo que eligieron el gris. En una de las primeras entrevistas, el vocalista Kyo explicó que conocía el nombre antes de que se formara la banda. Durante el especial de WOWOW en 2020, Kaoru explica que tomaron el nombre de otra banda que era famosa en esa época.
