[Verse 1]
What a shame, all your sweet remains are scattered 'cross the room
Cigarettes that once graced your lips are now trampled wounds
There were times I thought I would try to reach out to you
But now sorry's late and it's overplayed, such a sad excuse
[Chorus]
I didn't know how to love you
I didn't know how to care
Stood on the cracks while you fell through
I watched as you disappeared
I didn't know how to love you
I know that it wasn't fair
Think we both know who to point to
I have to live with your tears
And now you're gone, gone, gone
And now you're gone, gone, gone
[Verse 2]
I picture you on the steps, the way it cradled your head
Remembering how you wept and now my biggest regret
Is all that I never I said, I couldn't give you my best
We came apart at the threads
[Chorus]
I didn't know how to love you
I didn't know how to care
Stood on the cracks while you fell through
I watched as you disappeared
I didn't know how to love you
I know that it wasn't fair
Think we both know who to point to
I have to live with your tears
And now you're gone, gone, gone
And now you're gone, gone, gone
[Refrain]
(And now you're gone)
[Chorus]
I didn't know how to love you
I didn't know how to care
Stood on the cracks while you fell through
I watched as you disappeared
I didn't know how to love you
I know that it wasn't fair
Think we both know who to point to
I have to live with your tears
And now you're gone, gone, gone (I'm watching, I'm watching)
(I'll watch as you disappear)
And now you're gone, gone, gone (I'm watching, I'm watching)
(I'll watch as you disappear)
And now you're gone, gone, gone (I'm watching, I'm watching)
(I'll watch as you disappear)
And now you're gone, gone, gone (I'm watching, I'm watching)
(I'll watch as you disappear)
[Outro]
I'm watching, I'm watching
I'll watch as you disappear
I'm watching, I'm watching
I'll watch as you disappear
