"Anything" lyrics Richard Marx Lyrics "Anything"
I don't stare at the pictures of you
I've got on my phone
I don't drive by the place we first met
And stayed up till dawn
I've been sleepin', deep dreamin'
About someone else
And I never think of you ever
That's what I tell myself
And you know that I, know that I won't be up at night
Worried that you're movin' on
'Cause someone, anyone, soon gonna come
And take your place after you're gone
As soon as I, soon as I wipe my eyes
I swear I'm gonna make that call
'Cause you never meant, never meant, never meant
Never meant anything
Anything to me at all
I don't sleep with that yellow sweater
You left behind
Nothing you ever whispered to me
Crosses my mind
I'm not lyin', I'm just tryin'
To tell you that I'm over you
And above all, I promise I don't do all
These things I do
And you know that I, know that I won't be up at night
Worried that you're movin' on
'Cause someone, anyone, soon gonna come
And take your place after you're gone
As soon as I, soon as I wipe my eyes
I swear I'm gonna make that call
'Cause you never meant, never meant, never meant
Never meant anything
Anything to me at all
As soon as I, soon as I wipe my eyes
I swear I'm gonna make that call
'Cause you never meant, never meant, never meant
Never meant anything
Anything to me at all
And you know that I, know that I won't be up at night
Worried that you're movin' on
'Cause someone, anyone, soon gonna come
And take your place after you're gone
As soon as I, soon as I wipe my eyes
I swear I'm gonna make that call
I keep tellin' my, tellin' myself that you
Never meant anything
Anything to me at all
