En 1993, Tupac lanzó su segundo álbum, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., que incluía éxitos como I Get Around y Keep Ya Head Up.

Too Shady Lyrics[Verse 1: Encognito, KXNG Kedava & Jermainious Cole]
What I hear is nothing but lies, all that I find
All that I find are fakes, wannabe Jay’s, and Drakes (Fuck Jay Z)
People planted in the industry, just irritate the game
Quite a bit of them mumbling like— (Habadadabada), whatchu expect?
All these Travis Scotts and Migos, keep it in the past, Future
I hate all these liars and fakes, the ones talking crap behind your backs
But they can’t keep it G easily, but I keep it P like a skateboard
Cardi B, Ice Spice, Megan Thee Stallion, they’re all whores
But people think that only Christians should go to church
But the ones in the streets need Jesus
Don’t you know, Jesus saves gangsters too!
But first, you need to speak to the lord
And for Christians, they need to walk in their shoes
But only for a moment, otherwise, I’m too shady
[Pre-Chorus: Encognito]
I feel like a dead man that came back to life
I feel like a King not Prince so I won't get jiggy
I feel like I'm Too Shady for y'all
I feel like I'm Too Shady for y'all
I feel like I'm Too Shady for y'all
[Chorus: KXNG Kedava]
Cause if I finna wreck this bitch, then I finna wreck it in this bitch!
Cause if I finna wreck this bitch, then I finna wreck it in this bitch!
[Verse 2: Encognito]
I'll wreck this, but not like Miley Cyrus
Insane in the membrane like Cypress
But don't you act that funny
You better anthem for me
But this is The Crown
Never follow the crowd
Stop all that smoking
People like that get popped
Like it's some drugs
And skulls get cracked
And people lean like a cholo
Man, shut it, know that I ain't budging
But I know that people try to break me down
I still stay together mentally and physically
Too shady means I'ma be a Rap Godzilla
About to go berserk on a beat like Dre made it
So clean out your closet, and please stand up
I am the way I am in person, know that
Without me, there wouldn't be many cyphers returning
[Pre-Chorus: Encognito]
I feel like a dead man that came back to life
I feel like a King not Prince so I won't get jiggy
I feel like I'm Too Shady for y'all
I feel like I'm Too Shady for y'all
I feel like I'm Too Shady for y'all
[Chorus: KXNG Kedava]
Cause if I finna wreck this bitch, then I finna wreck it in this bitch!
Cause if I finna wreck this bitch, then I finna wreck it in this bitch!
[Outro: Encognito, Jermainious Cole & Chromo Catapult]
Hahaha, this is barely the beginning
Know that, know that, Too Shady, heh
Imma say that thought now
We need a sign (Yeah)
