He walks into the room
doesn't even know his name
he's looking for the answer
his family's to blame
we all know where he came from
and who he's looking for
uncovering the window
you watch out for the door
in and out the thing goes
back and forth the looks flow
he walks into the kitchen
doesn't even know the score
I try to look him in the eyes
he looks towards the floor
he's only doing what he knows
in the way that he knows best
the doctor felt quite confident
he passed the entrance test
in and out the thing goes
back and forth the looks flow
he's standing by the canopy
thirty paces from the door
he's looking at your shoulder
that means he wants some more
don't give him what he came for
don't let him know you care
if he looks at you just look away
he can't tell from over there
in and out the thing goes
back and forth the looks flow
He walks into the room
doesn't even know his name
he's looking for the answer
his family's to blame
we all know where he came from
and who he's looking for
I'm covering the window
you watch out for the door
in and out the thing goes
back and forth the looks flow
he walks into your bedroom
checks the posters on the wall
he's looking through the closet
looking for something small
he looks inside your handbag
he rips apart your drawers
he asks you for a crowbar
wants to check beneath the floors
in and out the thing goes
back and forth the looks flow
