Our Last Night is an illustrious American post-hardcore band that came to life in 2004. Though the group hails from the small town of Hollis, New Hampshire, their impact on the music scene has been anything but small. Conceived by the brothers Trevor and Matthew Wentworth, along with friends Alex "Woody" Woodrow and Tim Molloy, the band quickly made waves with their unique blend of aggressive instrumentals and melodic harmonies.
Initially, the road was a challenging one. Starting off with local gigs and self-released EPs, the band worked tirelessly to carve out a niche for themselves. Their early work—marked by raw emotion and unpolished talent—eventually caught the attention of Epitaph Records, a label known for its roster of edgy, genre-defining bands. Signing with Epitaph in 2007 was a pivotal moment for the group.
Their first major release, "The Ghosts Among Us" in 2008, showcased their ability to combine hardcore aggression with intricate melodies. Songs like "Escape" and "Recovery" resonated deeply with fans and critics alike, solidifying their place in the competitive post-hardcore genre. This album laid the foundation for the band's evolving sound.

it's a disease, this is a wrecking ball waiting in line
it's a disease, we're all waiting in line
its life spent putting holes through the hearts of buildings
there was a man back there on his hands and knees
in a confident voice he said he was dying
he breaths in toxins as a breath of fresh air
he was wearing a brand new suit
your glass body will self destruct in time
for everyone to see right through you
no one's home, no one's home leave a note that won't be answered
i should've know
it's a battle against the reflection
your framework is crumbling to the ground
it's a battle against the reflection
your fingerprints are ghosts among us
your glass body will self destruct in time
for everyone, for everyone to see right through you
no one's home, no one's home leave a note that won't be answered
i should've known
your glass body will self destruct
in time for everyone to see right through you

without your own skin you're living inside out
you're living in a body with no lungs to breath for itself
so speak for yourself

so speak for yourself, breath for yourself
