Te pareces tanto a él
It would be best if I told you once and for all
Before what I suspect happens
There’s a love that I haven’t been able to get rid of
From the deepest part of me, no matter how much I want to
He had your hands, your gaze, your candidness
And like you he was an attentive gentleman
But suddenly it was hell living with him
And if I’ve come out of the flames I should be careful about falling into the fire
You’re so much like him when he loved me
When I was his universe and his reason for being
You’re so much like him when in his soul
There only existed me, and he was faithful
You’re so much like him that it’s a solace
Because I believe that someday I’ll come to love you
But whilst I go killing his memory
I know that I’ll lose you too, I’ll lose you too
He had your hands, your gaze, your candidness
And like you he was an attentive gentleman
But suddenly it was hell living with him
And if I’ve come out of the flames I should be careful about falling into the fire
You’re so much like him when he loved me
When I was his universe and his reason for being
You’re so much like him when in his soul
There only existed me, and he was faithful
You’re so much like him that it’s a solace
Because I believe that someday I’ll come to love you
But whilst I go killing his memory

You’re so much like him when he loved me
