I watched them pour tiny insects from the sky
Their cold indifference brought a comfort to my mind
Their shapes convulsing on the windshield late at night
Illuminated by the artificial light
And then the rain would wash it all down to the mud
Trickling away, little emotions in the flood
I sit and watch them bleed as I wait for more to come
More tiny insects clinging to my bedroom wall
They come inside to occupy a space so small
Their little bodies moving all around the room
I lay down on the bed and watch them passing through
And then I see at night, a world all glowing red
The flowers and thе trees twisting slowly through my head
Didn't hear a thing as the rumors, thеy were spread
And no illusion did appear to hide the things I saw
No gentle hand to grip me there and pull me through the dark
Was getting closer every day to what I see falls way behind
I watched them crawl, tiny insects on the ground
Leaving their traces as they moved without a sound
Their shapes convulsing on the windshield late at night
Illuminated by the artificial light
And then the rain would wash it all down to the mud
Trickling away, little motions in the flood
I sit and watch them leave as I wait for more to come
