We’re Only Gonna Die (Live at Kommotion, 1994) LyricsEarly man walked away
As modern man took control
Their mind's weren't all the same
To conquer was their goal
So, he built his great empire
And he slaughtered his own kind
He died a confused man
Killed himself with his own mind
Early man walked away
As modern man took control
Their minds weren't all the same
And to conquer was their goal
So, he built his great empire
And he slaughtered his own kind
And he died a confused man
And killed himself with his own mind
Wait a minute, wait a minute, rewind!
Early man walked away
As modern man took control
Their minds weren't all the same
And to conquer was their goal
So, he built his great empire
And he slaughtered his own kind
He died a confused man
Killed himself with his own mind
I often wonder, when that shit gets right back to me
How I hold it up, hold it up
It always gets back to me
So, he, he built his great empire
And he slaughtered his own kind
Oh, he died a confused man
Killed himself with his own mind
Early man walked away
As modern man took control
Their minds weren't all the same
And to conquer was their goal
So, he built his great empire
And he slaughtered his own kind
And he died a confused man
Killed himself with his own...
One-two-three-four, one-two-three-four!
We're only gonna die from our own arrogance
That's why we might as well take our time
Ight, we out
That's that
