En 1993, Tupac lanzó su segundo álbum, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., que incluía éxitos como I Get Around y Keep Ya Head Up.

Remember My Name Lyrics[Intro: Bradd Young]
Check out and remember my name, my name
Said you gonna remember my name
[Hook: Bradd Young, City Spud]
If I'm alive or not, cold or hot
Block and guard my spot
Said you gonna remember my name
From the start 'til the end
Whether I lose or win
Family for a friend
You gonna remember my name
My name, my name yeah
Said you gonna remember my name
My name (Uh, look)
[Verse 1: City Spud]
I'm a hustler, don't wanna tussle with me
I can touch ya, I keep that muscle with me
I got pictures on the mail, but killas all around
But [?] on tip it to Benny's to muffle the sound
And you know how it is, you knew how it was
Before I left the city, the city belong to Spud
Now I'm back for the crown, Nelly backing me down
No more crews in the city, I'm Maybach in the town
Smokin' that hood shit, purple cripple wood shit
They hundred for a zone, man, I'm gone off that good shit
I put the rocks in the chain, put the rocks in the chunk
I put the rocks on the wrist, fuck it, I might listen to (uh)
[Hook: Bradd Young]
If I'm alive or not, cold or hot
Block and guard my spot
Said you gonna remember my name
From the start 'til the end
Whether I lose or win
Family for a friend
You gonna remember my name
My name, my name yeah
Said you gonna remember my name
My name
[Verse 2: City Spud]
I got that London Blue Beamer, six hundred Benz
Coffee brown a bit lighter like it's mixed with that creamer
Dough, I gotta get that, your girl gotta hit that
Got a burden too, fuck it, give it to Jay E, let him flip that
Tell him to slang that crack but not 'round here
Yeah, you bring that back and take that there
Coug', if they got beef, the guns over there
So, if y'all play guns, I play sincere
See, I'm deep in the belly of the beast I come from
Deep in the belly of the freaks I run and, uh
Dough is coming, they get throwin' the blunts
Man, hundred around my neck, you know where he from
They say what's in the gut, pictures are nothin' else
I spit that game, got that head flew or something
Take a look at the truck, it's sittin' on buttons
Twenty-sixes sleep through like it fits on nothing
Ayo, I'm smooth as I wanna be, cool as I wanna be
Don't get it twisted, the two's stay up on me
Same cats laughin', it was cool making fun of me
Now put 'em all in front of me, I'm better what they wanna be
[Hook: Bradd Young]
If I'm alive or not, cold or hot
Block and guard my spot
Said you gonna remember my name
From the start 'til the end
Whether I lose or win
Family for a friend
You gonna remember my name
My name, my name yeah
Said you gonna remember my name
