En 1993, Tupac lanzó su segundo álbum, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., que incluía éxitos como I Get Around y Keep Ya Head Up.

The Answer Lyrics[Intro]

[Chorus]
Only you
Are the answer
You turn the night into day
Only you
Are the answer
You turn the night into day
[Verse 1 - 2pac]
Dave Duke sure look cute in that black suit, ooh
But even cuter behind the barrel of my six shooter, ooh
You look worried 'cause I ain't buried
Punks leave in a hurry
'Cause I throw flurries making mothafuckas scurry
Come feel the flavor from my single
And brain cell's tingle
I'm feeling stronger than a fuckin mad Dingo and uh
How's that for black history?
I stay strapped, and love to jack
Those that slang that crack misery
'Cause being a nigga means you love niggas
But how could you love niggas if you trying drug niggas?
You mothafuckas need your caps peeled
'Causе when blacks kill blacks we stay trapped
And that's rеal
And we don't need no more statistics
It's time to get more realistic
For the young the black and the gifted
And until my people get uplifted
There's no poppin' shit
Just poppin' clips, instead of marchin' we gon' rip shit
[Chorus]
Only you
Are the answer
You turn the night into day
Only you
Are the answer
You turn the night into day

Ain't nothin' changed
But the range of my aim got a couple yards longer
Yeah, I'm a couple firearms stronger
I'm still a 44 shell from hell

[Verse 3]
I hit the scene at 15 and started gettin' a name
'Cuz I was rhymin' and grindin', I was gettin the change
A couple years later got down with the team
I was signed to Ruff Ryders movin pounds of the green
I did a groove album, but I ain't get a release
That's when I politiced with Swiss and started rippin his beats
But I was still hittin' the streets and sellin' the cain
I'm a hustla, muthafucka tell em the name
[Verse 4]
Some say the government'll watch me
But they can't stop me
I'm droppin' evil with the people as my posse
And even if they pull they triggers, they can shoot one man
But nothing's gonna stop the plan of true niggas
[Verse 5]
I hope you got an extra mic and a fire proof booth
'cause you know I'm known to metal wire too
You need a fire engineer, ey heh, o yeah
