In a world that feeds off
Lies that seem too good to be true
You gave a faint smile, wrapped in my arms
Because the actual truth sounds like a lie
Used to get bored of being too active
Got excited when I had a fever
For some reason I was strangely happy
I ran to my mother with a loud voice
Wonder what will happen when two souls
With different colors and shapes of the heart become one
How many more hearts do I have to have to take your hand
And sweep you away into my hеart?
Now humanity has left this Earth and is aiming for Mars
Still, you seem so far to me, only 20 centimеters away
That back that is too small
Is carrying a destiny that is too great
Even if I lend you my hand
It'll slip through and return to it’s master
The moment you took your eyes off me
My cells will start snoring again... what woke them up?
How many more hearts do I have to have
To tell you exactly how I feel?
Even though intelligence that surpasses humanity is being born
My words just repeat themselves reluctantly
Can't we get ten minutes of lifespan from all human beings
And transplant them into you?
Or divide my life into two
And give one of the halves to you
Then, on the count of three
We can move on with the next life
How many more hearts do I have to have to take your hand
And sweep you away into my heart?
Now humanity has left this Earth and is aiming for Mars
Still, I'm off to you, only 20 centimeters away
This one heart will scream at the top of its voice
"You were the meaning of my life in this world."
