[Verse 1]
At the mercy of the waves in a desperate ocean I wander
I sailed away and I condemned myself
Exiled on a raft of shattered certainties
Suffering and in pain, I look at the gushing of my blood
To slothfulness I abandoned myself
Converging to infinity in this vast sea
But the destination is unknown, I don't know where I am going
But all this intense darkness is dazzling me
I give up, I laid on the wreck
Defeated, I turn my eyes to the sky and a shiver comes over me
Anguish rises, I want to run away
But a big huge face is staring at me
And it persist in gifting me its myriad of glances
With its millions of bright eyes teeming with life
So close and yet so far away
I close my eyes to not look at them
Those watery crests of frozen pitch
Gently lull my broken raft
Their trill that break the silence
Imposes itself and resonates in the immense
[Verse 2]
On the horizon
The imperious flood stands in the darkness
It ascends unceasingly with solemnity
It hegemonizes everything, it conquers the stars
The dark face was masked
By gigantic gray clouds as big as entire empires
The shouts of the wind an incessant wailing
They create watery demons as tall as skyscrapers
That with violent strength they hurl on the raft
They will devour my soul voraciously
They will placate after overwhelming me
When they will have sacrificed me to the deep sea
And so, in this dark night
The abyss surrounds me between the arms of death
But craving life, I fight with all my strengths
I crave light in this delirium of maybes
The abyss welcomes me, I get closer to death
I’m sinking in regrets, we are insignificant
Between passions, worries, shivers, vivid, livid
I relive the cynical smiles of long gone free spirits
[Verse 3]
Dying and desperate, unarmed I gift myself to fate
The raft is broken and the ocean swallows voraciously
My soul and my body, I’m drowning in emptiness
I cannot do anything to change my destiny
So I fall into that bottomless void
I get sucked in the desert of the thought
Lost in the infinity of my oblivion where
Not even my breath has remained true
