I’d rather cry today than draw the sword now
There’s no one outside the sheath
The sword I pointed towards you
It just hurts in my chest
A drop of rain fell and turned into a shower
There’s no umbrella here to go home
The two of us waited for the storm
Looking for where to go
I said in a murmur “It’s okay now”
It’s more than just rain
So it won’t wait
If the flowers fall on the sword to close out the festival music and the summer
And the umbrella sheds tears
Please give the moon to the sky
For me who got scared
I’d rather cry today than draw the sword now
I guess that’s how I’ve come through the night
If I stop walking and take a stance to risk myself
It would be hard
The painful pain in my chest
No I shouldn’t get used to it
Realize it, realize it soon
It overflowed no matter how I put up with it
I said in a murmur “Time to go home”
The festival music and the rain stopped
Oh I see, you won’t tell me
Rather than tapping my eyelids little by little
I wish I could throw away the sheath and grow stronger
Look up, the moon is beautiful in the sky
To a lifetime’s worth of you
Draw the sword
Go now, you are wide open
I can’t lose today
I held my breath and stopped shaking my legs
Slashing at the back as you walk through the night
Does it hurt? Sure must hurt
Look up, the moon is beautiful in the sky
