We can’t stop looking for things that are wrong and we march in a town filled with countless mirrors. I wish everything to be broken
A boasting unknown voice echoed
It rings familiar in my ears
Isn’t it poetic justice?
A justified outrage
One that doesn’t go away within six seconds
Everyone can feel it
We can never find salvation
We need a special god we can sense and see
We’re told that being alive is everything
And with this thinking, there is no salvation
On that day
The season was innocent
And the shadows were few
I had wondered if the girl had returned home safely
Even if nobody can judge correctly
And we confuse the good and bad
We should just move forward holding everything together
I’d rather stop hating and be hated, and have an offering of flowers
I wish I could fall asleep without hating anyone
I hope my words are drowned out by the screaming chorus of others
We can’t take back what was said
There is no going back once you reach this far
Let’s hold up the edge of our rage
